If you are vegan traveling in Espoo - you are in luck! Espoo offers a variety of restaurants that are fully vegan or offer a variety of different vegan and vegetarian dishes.

The Finnish food culture is centered around using fresh and locally sourced ingredients. From the forest, you'll get freshly picked berries and mushrooms, while local farms provide grains and potatoes. Many traditional Finnish foods, such as Karelian pastries and casseroles, are vegan-friendly as the main ingredients are vegan. Additionally, many loved Finnish products like Korvapuusti (Cinnamon bun) have a vegan option available. If you prefer vegan dishes, you'll find Finland's food culture very welcoming, and you won't miss out on experiencing the local cuisine.
