Espoo and its neighbouring municipality of Kirkkonummi have dozens of historical and architecturally interesting manor houses and villas, many of which are now privately owned. Fortunately, many of them also welcome tourists and conference guests.

Majvik’s Art Nouveau Castle
The stunning Art Nouveau Castle, part of the Majvik Conference Hotel, features exquisite details and bay windows that exude the idyllic atmosphere of early 20th-century National Romanticism and the glamour of a bygone era. The castle's spaces are ideal for elegant lunches, dinners, cocktail parties, themed events, and smaller meetings. The venue is always reserved exclusively for one client at a time.
Majvik is located right off Ring III, yet in a serene, scenic seaside setting on the shore of Espoonlahti.
- Castle Meeting and Event Spaces: The ground floor can accommodate up to 90 guests for celebrations, 20 at a single conference table, or 30 at group tables. Additionally, the castle tower features a circular private room for 8 with breathtaking views.
- Accommodation: Meeting or event guests can stay in the castle's six hotel rooms or one of the hotel's 102 rooms.
- Catering: Catering is provided through Majvik.
- Activities: The large yard area bordering the seashore enables various indoor and outdoor self-led or guided activities – ideal for team-building, fun socializing, and exciting competitions.
- Arrival: Accessible by shared transport or train (a 1.3 km walk from Masala train station). There is also an EV charging station.
Majvik is a Green Key-certified venue and has earned the Sustainable Travel Finland label by Visit Finland.
Backby Manor
Backby Manor is a former equestrian estate with roots dating back to the 17th century. It is the only manor in Espoo that also offers accommodation. The manor house itself hosts a restaurant, a stunning summer terrace, and several meeting rooms, while the later-built hotel building houses other amenities, such as the guest rooms, sauna and pool area,
- Conference and event facilities: There are 10 meeting rooms, the largest of which can accommodate 80 people in a theatre style. More info about the meeting packages.
- Activities: There are plenty of self-directed options available. From the manor's courtyard, you can access a high-quality 12-hole disc golf course and nature trails. Backby Manor is close to several excellent and varied cycling routes, and guided bike tours with electric or gravel bikes can be arranged through partners.

- Location: In Pakankylä, Northern Espoo, 15 minutes from Espoo Centre, 35 minutes from Helsinki city centre and 25 minutes from the airport.
Wohls Gård
Wohl's history begins almost 400 years ago when the area where the manor is located was given to Ludvig Hintelmann from Riga in 1624. After that, history has many twists and turns and exciting stages. Today, the Gustavian-style manor building is rented out for corporate/business events, and its charming cultural landscape is perfect for meetings, summer parties, and team days.
- Meeting and event spaces: The Manor building is best suited for meeting groups of 15–20 people, but it can accommodate up to 65 guests for dining and celebrations. For larger meetings and events, up to 150 people, the atmospherically renovated old stone barn, Wohls Stall, is ideal.
- Accommodation: Not on site. The nearest hotel is Majvik, 15 minutes drive away,
- Catering: Wohls Gård's primary catering partner is News Catering, but clients are welcome to bring their own alcoholic beverages if they wish.
- Activities: Wohls's garden and waterfront area provide excellent opportunities for outdoor activities, including water sports. Wohls's partners, such as Eventure Oy, offer additional programs.
- Accessibility: Both Wohls Gård's floors are accessible, and there is an elevator to the upper floor. Downstairs there is an accessible, spacious toilet.
- Location: on the shore of Lake Humaljärvi, approximately 35 minutes from the centre of Helsinki and approximately 40 minutes from the airport.
Bodom Manor
Bodom Manor is a stunning estate built in 1797. It is located on the shore of Lake Bodom in Espoo, amidst the beautiful Master Golf courses. With a history spanning hundreds of years, this storied manor is now a popular venue for celebrations and corporate events.
The manor consists of various meeting and event spaces, offering ample room even for large gatherings—the combined indoor and spacious outdoor areas can accommodate events for over a thousand guests.
- Meeting and Event Spaces: Six meeting rooms for 10–70 people, in addition to the unique Old Stable venue on the manor grounds, suitable for events of up to 120 guests.
- Catering: Catering services are available through the manor.
- Activities: The manor's surroundings offer various activities, including golf lessons, guided painting sessions by Lake Bodom, yoga, and even group “Olympics.” The manor also has a lakeside sauna.
- Arrival: For groups, shared transport is recommended. The nearest public bus stop is 500 meters away.
