Arrival in Nuuksio

Depending on your group's starting point and where you are going in Nuuksio, the travel time is usually between 30 and 60 minutes.

With public transportation

Nuuksio has relatively good public transport connections. The most convenient way to check them is from the Helsinki region's transport guide, Journey Planner, which will guide you to your destination from your doorstep.

  • For example, the Finnish Nature Center Haltia and Haltia Lake Lodge can be reached by direct bus 245(A) from Espoo's centre all year round. In the summer, you can take the bus 245 to Kattila, where Green Window's facilities are located. The centre of Espoo can be reached by train (trains E, L, U, and Y) from Helsinki city centre.

With a coach or private cars

However, due to scheduling reasons and walking distances, a coach transfer is the best option to reach many meeting places in Nuuksio. This is a recommended and responsible option when travelling in a group—and it allows you to start the time together already on the way!

There are also limited parking spaces in some smaller venues, so if you are travelling with your car, you should prefer carpooling and ensure parking possibilities in advance.

You can charge electric cars at the following venues: Finnish Nature Center Haltia and Hawkhill.
