Journey for all senses at Wäinölä
JOURNEY FOR ALL SENSES AT WÄINÖLÄ:
Surrounded by the old forests of Nuuksio, in the age-old atmosphere of Wäinölä, a fire is crackling, a low drum is beating and ancient songs fill the air, inviting your mind to wander to the past and the magic of nature. Time stands still and the mind quiets down around the campfire. Finnish traditions and enticing sensory experiences welcome you to sing, play and dance.
PROGRAM:
In the world of nature sounds, the senses become sharper, and the purifying scents make worries disappear like smoke in the air.
The mythical bear with its beliefs takes you to the era of our ancestors.
Participants make protective amulets from natural materials to take home and the Magic Potion of Wäinölä takes them to the world of summer flavours.
People sing, play and dance together at the campfire site and the Wäinölä cottage.
