The recreational area Oittaa, located at the southern end of Lake Bodom, offers multiple outdoor activities for the whole family. You will find there, from the equipment rental, over kilometers of cross-country skiing trails, and the most popular beach in Espoo to heated sauna sessions and adventure minigolf. Besides that, you can enjoy a 4,4 km long outdoor trail for jogging and cross-country skiing during winter. You can also follow a shorter - 2,2 km nature trail for lighter exercise. Orienteering enthusiasts can enjoy fixed orienteering points in the area and its surroundings

Haltia Recreational Area, also called Haltia Gate, is a perfect place that combines Nuuksio's most known sites, services, and the beauty of Finnish nature. You will find there, from glamping nest accommodation over the southernmost reindeer park to the most popular viewpoint over Lake Pitkäjärvi.

The Haukkalampi area is located in the eastern part of the Nuuksio National Park. The site is around the Haukkalampi Pond, where you can enjoy Kayaking or Sup boarding as the Natura Viva's rental place is nearby Café Haukka. Besides that, you can find a nature cabin and a starting point for 4 different trails in the area.

Pirttimäki is an excellent place for hiking during the summer season and cross-country skiing during the winter. You can find about 20 km of marked trails there, also suitable for mountain biking. Besides that, you can prolong your hike to surrounding recreational areas - Haltia and Luukki. Pirttimäki area is located between two lakes - Lake Bodom and Lake Pitkäjärvi. The beautiful landscape was shaped by the last Ice Age, and the place is very diverse and impressive, with steep cliffs, erratic boulders, scenic lakes, ponds, lush bogs, and mires. The unique sight in the area is a 1,8-hectare walnut grove. 

Luukki (also called Luukkaa) is one of the most popular outdoor areas in the Helsinki metropolitan area and belongs to the Nuuksio National Park. This area is known for being home to a flying squirrel forest. Flying Squirrels are the main character of Nuuksio National Park, and with some luck, you can even spot them during your visit.

Salmi recreation area is located on the northern side of Nuuksio National Park. The area is also known as Nuuksio Northern Gate and offers several trails, which vary from under 2 to 10 kilometers. These marked trails are suitable for hiking and jogging during the summer season. During the winter season, trails serve as cross-country skiing tracks.
