White Reindeer Lappish Hut in Nuuksio Reindeer Park

Enjoy an experiential lunch, coffee break or three-course dinner with wine in the atmospheric Lappish Hut of our Reindeer Park in Nuuksio surrounded by tame reindeer.

The teepee has wooden tables and benches for up to 35 diners, and you can also enjoy the atmosphere around the campfire.

The White Reindeer Hut has hosted intimate nature weddings, birthdays and entertained foreign guests. It also serves as a lunch or dinner venue for guests staying at Karhunpesä log cottage and you can book it as a relaxed meeting space. Check out the menus on the Reindeer Park's website.

The teepee is open to the public during the opening hours of the Reindeer Park on the weekends, where admission includes feeding the reindeer, as well as campfire coffee and bun roasted over an open fire; and in December mulled wine and gingerbreads.

In the Reindeer Park, there is also an amethyst mining shed, where you can dig your own lucky stone, a domestic raw amethyst. The raw amethysts were originally ecologically mined from a private amethyst mine in Lapland and brought to Nuuksio Reindeer Park to be rediscovered. The amethyst comes with a certificate of authenticity.

From the small souvenir shop, you can find ecologically produced souvenirs such as items and jewelry made from reindeer bone.

In the Reindeer Park, there is also an eco-friendly accommodation option in an eco-friendly Igluhut for two persons. There are two Igluhuts: Pihka and Naava. You can feed reindeer directly from the window of your hut.
